-
Name |
Henry Hart |
Born |
Abt 1826 |
Saint George in the East, Middlesex |
- The estimated date and place of birth are derived as follows:
The 1841 census entry [see Joseph Hart] states that Henry was living in the parish of St. George in the East aged 14 and in the 1851 census Henry's place of birth is stated as St. George East.

Male |
Census |
1841 |
Saint George in the East, Middlesex [2] |
- This Henry Hart aged 14 is tentatively identified with the later records because Henry is listed as living in the household of Joseph Hart aged 45, Traveller, and Deborah Hart (30), John (12), Esther (10), Emanuel (5) and Barrett (2). The 1841 census does not give relationships of occupants to the head of the household. It is a reasonable presumption that Joseph Hart is the father of Henry; Joseph Hart is stated to be the father of Henry Hart in the 1850 marriage entry.

- This entry of death clearly relates to the same person as in the earlier records because:
- the informant of the death was Henry B. Hart, son

Finsbury St. Luke, Islington, Middlesex [8, 9] |
- There is good evidence to connect this married couple to the Henry and Anne Hart appearing in the 1851 and 1861 census:
- there is no other marriage in the extensive ancestry.co.uk coverage which fits
- the 1851 census shows Henry and Ann with one son, William Henry, aged 3 months;
- the 1861 census gives Ann Hart's place of birth as Islington, Middlesex and this marriage took place in Islington;
- the marriage entry gives "Traveller" which does not correspond with Henry Hart's occupation in the 1851 census as "Artificial flower maker"; however, "Traveller" is the occupation given for Joseph Hart in the 1841 census; Joseph Hart is given as the father of Henry in the marriage entry. See further in the general note for Henry Hart.
